Angelique Engle Wellness exists to support anyone who is navigating life after trauma – those who are self-aware, high-functioning, and still quietly struggling.
Angelique Engle is a trauma educator and somatic wellness advocate who brings both lived experience and professional insight to her work. A survivor of childhood sexual, physical, mental, and verbal abuse, Angelique spent years building a successful corporate career while privately managing the long-term effects of complex trauma. Her story mirrors the women she now supports—high-achieving, deeply self-aware, and still carrying the weight of survival behind closed doors.
Angelique’s professional path includes more than a decade in leadership and business development roles across healthcare, sales, and operational strategy. Her ability to lead, perform, and deliver results under pressure was once driven by hyper-independence and nervous system dysregulation. That experience now shapes her message: healing doesn’t mean giving up success. It means learning to stop suffering in silence behind it.
Through Angelique Engle Wellness, she now shares trauma-informed education, nervous system regulation tools, and somatic healing practices that meet women where they are—in their bodies, in their stress, and in their resistance to slowing down. She is a Certified Trauma Professional and a clear, compassionate voice in a space that often feels clinical or out of touch.
Angelique lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Michael and their three beloved cats: Ivy Cake, Muffin, and Steel. When she’s not creating content or supporting her community, she’s probably reading about trauma science, enjoying quiet mornings, or giving Steel all the somatic cuddles.
More than 20 years of genetics experience inform this approach to trauma recovery. Deep knowledge of epigenetics reveals how trauma can influence the nervous system, immune response, and emotional regulation—making biology a key part of healing.
Angelique is a Master Level Educator and a Certified Biology of Trauma® Professional. Her work is supported by advanced training in somatic practices, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed approaches from leading programs and thought leaders around the world.
Training includes trauma science, somatic practice, and parts work, with education spanning global conferences, hands-on intensives, and certified programs.
Angelique’s work focuses on practical, science-based ways to understand and move through the effects of trauma. Her approach blends education, somatic tools, and supportive practices designed to help you heal on every level.
